Knowledge Transfer and Account Update Information
hi all ,I hope this message finds you well.I am writing to inform you that I have completed the knowledge transfer process as required.Additionally, I would like to mention that I was using my personal laptop for FAS-related work. After concluding my responsibilities with FAS, I have removed all data and materials associated with FAS from my device.Furthermore, my personal mobile number was initially linked to the Microsoft account used for FAS operations. I have now updated the contact information and replaced it with the official FAS mobile number. Please let me know if any further clarification or assistance is needed from my side.RegardsRahul Reghunadh

Request for Replacement of Office Printers
Dear Sandipan & Pinki .I hope this email finds you well. I would like to bring to your attention the current situation regarding the printers in our office.
As of now, we have two printers one is HP laser jet pro and another one is EPSON_l656_series , both the printers are outdated and have ceased functioning effectively.
Issues are listed out :
HP Printer
1. HP printer does not connect to few systems and system.
2. System which are connected to the HP printer , if print is given it would not print immediately ,
it takes much time to print . Sometime it takes more than an hour to print .
3. The systems which ever is connects to HP printer , when there is need for the printing , i need to disable the printer and enable the printer , then the printer works with slow printing and low printing
4. When print is given , in certain systems , the printing options [such as minimizing , printing back to back and many other ] are not available , where earlier those options were present .
5. Printer is filled with sufficient ink, still the printing quality is low .
6. In the middle of the printing process , it automatically pause the print, then manually need to check and resume it .
EPSON_l656_series
1. Epson does not connect to the researchers systems , even though it shows that it is connected but it does not give print .
2. This printer default connects to FAS Entry network , even though manually change to the other network it wont connect .
3. Systems also will not connect to the EPSON printer .even tried manually to connect .
3. Printing is very slow . It takes more than an hour to print .
5. It automatically pause and resumes the print .
4. Quality of the printing is very low though the ink is full.
5. even though the inq is full in the printer it pop up message as NO INQ.
Multiple times we have sent the printer to get serviced, the person takes for the service and fix issue for the time being , and the problem persist the same .
Despite our efforts to resolve the issues, they are no longer operational and do not meet the office's requirements. This is impacting productivity and workflow, particularly for tasks that depend on regular printing.
Considering these circumstances, I kindly request your approval to replace the printers with updated models that can handle our needs efficiently. Please let me know if you require any additional details or recommendations regarding suitable printer models.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your guidance on the next steps.
Thanks and regards
Vinod Kumar .

To ensure proper functionality, I performed a factory reset on the printer to restore its default settings. After the reset, I tested printing from multiple devices in FAS, and all prints came out correctly.
Additionally, on the old server, we had a script that restarted the printer three times daily (at 9 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM) to ensure smooth operation. This script was not set up on the new server earlier, but I have now added it. Moving forward, the printer will restart automatically at the specified times.
I will continue performing the daily health checkups and will keep you updated on the printer’s status. Please let me know if you notice any further issues.

Dear Rahul,Thank you for your email (although we would have appreciated it better if you had provided some relevant evidence as well. That would give us a sense of the gravity of the problem). Please contact the service provider at the earliest and kindly update us, this week itself. This is a critical issue as many of our events and meetings use the Conference room facility.Regards,SandipanRegards,SandipanOn Thu, Jan 9, 2025 at 10:02 AM Systems Engineer, FAS <sys_ops@fas.org.in> wrote:Hi Pinki and SandipanI conducted a check-up on the router placed in the conference room as discussed.
