    Hi All,

I want to inform you that we have been facing some issues with the HP printer in FAS. During my daily health checkup, I used the printer IP (192.168.1.187), but it showed as unreachable. This occurred after I performed a firmware update on the router last Friday, which changed the IP to 192.168.1.188. Once I identified the change, I conducted a test print, which was successful.

To ensure proper functionality, I performed a factory reset on the printer to restore its default settings. After the reset, I tested printing from multiple devices in FAS, and all prints came out correctly.

Additionally, on the old server, we had a script that restarted the printer three times daily (at 9 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM) to ensure smooth operation. This script was not set up on the new server earlier, but I have now added it. Moving forward, the printer will restart automatically at the specified times.

I will continue performing the daily health checkups and will keep you updated on the printer’s status. Please let me know if you notice any further issues.

    Regards
